How long does a snapshot take to generate?

Generation typically completes in one to five minutes. The pipeline runs site scanning, executes three sample runs of each buyer query against three AI assistants, applies the rubric to all 10 gates, generates the narrative, and renders the PDF. Results are delivered by email with a shareable permalink.

Which AI assistants does the snapshot test?

The snapshot tests Microsoft Copilot, OpenAI ChatGPT, and Perplexity by default. Each query is sampled three times per assistant to account for output non-determinism. Anthropic Claude and Google Gemini are planned for later phases. Coverage will expand as new assistants gain meaningful buyer adoption.

DSCRI-ARGDW is the 10-gate pipeline that AI assistants traverse when finding, processing, and selecting content for buyer queries. Foundation gates: Discovery, Structure, Content, Reputation, Infrastructure. Advanced gates: Authority, Recency, Granularity, Differentiation, Weighted Citability. Each gate is scored 0 to 5 with cited evidence.

How is this different from a traditional SEO audit?

Traditional SEO audits score discoverability and ranking for Google. The AAO Discovery Snapshot scores whether AI assistants will extract and recommend the company in agentic interfaces. The advanced gates (Authority, Recency, Granularity, Differentiation, Weighted Citability) cover terrain that most SEO toolkits do not score yet.

How much does a snapshot cost?

Pricing for public launch is not yet finalized. Private beta participants will receive snapshots at no cost in exchange for feedback. The free tier at public launch will include a limited number of snapshots per month per email. Paid tiers will add unlimited snapshots, monitoring, and comparison features.

When can I use the snapshot?

Private beta begins after the rubric stabilizes in version 0.2, expected mid-2026. Public soft launch is targeted for summer 2026, opening to anyone with an email. Waitlist members will receive early access invitations in batches as snapshot pipeline capacity allows for operator quality review.
