Bayesian & Priors is the independent rating agency for AI search, founded in 2025 by Andres Plashal. The firm operates as a practice of Plashal LLC, headquartered in the United States.

Buying is shifting from human search to AI-mediated research. Prospects ask ChatGPT, Claude, and Perplexity which companies to trust, and each assistant cites a different set of sources. Most companies cannot see whether they are cited, ignored, or misrepresented in that layer, and no standard exists to measure it. We are that standard.

What we do

We issue the BayPri Score, an independent 0 to 100 rating of a brand’s AI search citability, produced by the DSCRI-ARGDW 10-gate methodology with vertical-profile calibration and five named bands from Citable Authority to Invisible to AI Search. A free AAO Snapshot is the entry point; paid Basic, Pro, and Enterprise tiers add continuous monitoring, the full gate scorecard, prioritized remediation, and analyst-led ratings.

Why a rating, not a tool

Emerging tools report where a brand is mentioned across AI assistants, and incumbent SEO scores measure classic search authority. Neither issues an independent, governed rating of AI citability. Like Moody’s for bonds or FICO for borrowers, the BayPri Score is a transparent number on a published methodology, with named bands and a disclosed reliability tier, so it means the same thing to everyone who reads it.

How we stay neutral

We use an issuer-pays model in which the rated company pays, and we keep rating fees separate from remediation revenue to manage conflict of interest. An independent methodology advisory board governs changes to the published rubric, and a public rating registry lets buyers and AI engines look up credibility. Neutrality is the product.

Why it matters

AI assistants increasingly decide which companies to recommend, and in regulated verticals brands need a defensible, transparent basis for any claim about their visibility. An optimization tool cannot provide that; an independent rating can. The BayPri Score makes AI-search trust visible, banded, and improvable, so a brand knows exactly where it stands and what to fix.
